John Beardmore

After the sad news of the passing of Mrs June Beardmore, on the 17th December 2017, Southern 100 Racing has been informed that her husband John died in hospital on Monday 8th January 2018.

Both John and June were long-time supporters of the Southern 100 Road Races and had been attending the races at Billown for at least 40-years, although John’s ill-health had prevented them travelling to the Island for the last four years.

Their nephew, Darren Wood said: ‘John went very peacefully and is now able to be with his beloved June again.

‘We had just arranged the funeral for June on the 22nd January, but those plans have been put on hold, so I can arrange a joint send off - details will follow once sorted.’

John and June Beardmore had been married for more than 50-years and Southern 100 Racing once again extends its sincere condolences to Darren and other members of John and Junes family and friends and thank them for the continued support over many years. RIP
